Nora, a timeless myth
With its thousands of years of history, the Phoenician-Punic and Roman city of Nora is one of the main archaeological sites in the south western coast of Sardinia. Open year round, visitors can discover – just a short distance from the Hotel Sant'Efis – the remains of the ancient civilisation which inhabited this rich land, admiring its dwellings, public places and traditions.
Certainly not to be missed... And on the subject of traditions, don’t miss the feast of Sant’Efisio at the beginning of May, famous the world over for the moving religious and colourful folklore ceremonies which have made it an unforgettable event for all lovers of Sardinia.
